Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE A PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 446-J, COVERED BY ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. O-1,794, REGISTERED AND OWNED BY AGUSTINA BETON, CONTAINING AN AREA OF NINE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT (9,168) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY MANGA, THIS CITY, WHICH AREA SHALL BE ALLOCATED AS RELOCATION SITE FOR THE TRANSFERRING EMPLOYEES/PERSONNEL OF THE CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF THE PHILIPPINES (CAAP)" WHEREAS, in view of the request of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Regional Office IX--an agency who signified intention to effect the transfer of their regional office to the City of Pagadian, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter dated 15 March 2021, requested for an authority to purchase a parcel of land known as Lot No. 446-J, covered by Original Certificate of Title No. O-1,794, containing an area of Nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Eight (9,168) Square Meters, situated at Barangay Manga, for use as relocation site of their employees/personnel who will be displaced by the transfer following the information that the CAAP had already acquired a parcel of lot situated near the vicinity of the airport perimeter for their regional office site; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body, finding no legal impediment thereto, deems it imperative to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to purchase the said parcel of land for use as relocation site of the transferring employees/personnel of the Office of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase a parcel of land known as Lot No. 446-J, covered by Original Certificate of Title No. O-1,794, registered and owned by Agustina Beton, containing an area of Nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Eight (9,168) Square Meters, situated at Barangay Manga, this city, which area shall be allocated as relocation site for the transferring employees/personnel of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
