RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1015 (Sponsored by: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY ENGINEER TO FAST-TRACK THE PREPARATION OF THE PLANS, PROGRAM OF WORKS AND THE CORRESPONDING COST ESTIMATES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEW SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD BUILDING LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE ALONG F.S. PAJARES AVENUE, SAN JOSE DISTRICT, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, following the sale and disposal of the City Oval--where the previous Sangguniang Panlungsod building is located--the offices of the City Vice Mayor, the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod are now temporarily transferred at the 4th Floor, City Commercial Center (C3), Barangay Santiago, this city, pending the construction and establishment of a new Sangguniang Panlungsod Building at the back of the City Engineer's Office along F.S. Pajares Avenue, Barangay San Jose, this city; WHEREAS, after more than six (6) months had elapsed, information revealed that the construction of the building could not yet proceed due to lack of the necessary documentary requirements such as plans/designs, program of works and the corresponding cost estimates for the foregoing project, hence, requesting the City Chief Executive to direct the City Engineer to fast track the preparation of the required documents in order to expedite the construction and completion of the said building is most imperative; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Engineer to fast-track the preparation of the plans, program of works and the corresponding cost estimates for the construction and establishment of the new Sangguniang Panlungsod building located at the back of the City Engineer's Office along F.S. Pajares Avenue, San Jose District, this City. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to Engr. Gerry D. Nebria, City Engineer; and Engr. Gloria Samson, Assistant City Engineer and Planning Officer, City Engineer's Officer, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
