"A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING POLICE GENERAL DEBOLD M. SINAS, CHIEF-PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE (PNP), TO AUGMENT AND DOWNLOAD ADDITIONAL POLICE PERSONNEL TO THE PAGADIAN CITY POLICE STATION TO HELP CARRY OUT ITS OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS" 

WHEREAS, currently, the Pagadian City Police Office is operating with a One Hundred Forty-Two (142) personnel including the Chief of Police which number is obviously way below the ideal ratio per population of more than 210,000 spread all over the 54 barangays comprising the City;
 
WHEREAS, the present number of police personnel and officers assigned in the city, as observed, could hardly cope up in the campaign against all forms of criminality much less, address and resolve the same, such that the assignment and/or deployment of additional police personnel and officers in Pagadian City will indispensably and certainly help in the planned sectoral operation of the city police force as a measure to enable the police to respond to resolve and abate incidents of crime;

WHEREAS, in order to effectively implement measures and maintain laudable police service to the community and to ensure the safety of its inhabitants, this body, taking into serious consideration the need to attain the ideal police-population ratio of 1 policeman for every 500 residents, finds it in order and urgent to request Police General Debold M. Sinas, Chief PNP, to seriously consider the augmentation and downloading of additional police personnel to the Pagadian City Police Office;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of all members of the 13th City Council present, and severally seconded, it was 

RESOLVED to earnestly request, as it is hereby earnestly requested Police General Debold M. Sinas, Chief-Philippine National Police (PNP), to augment and download additional Police Personnel to the Pagadian City Police Station to help carry out its operation and functions.
 
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the PNP Chief, PGEN. Debold M. Sinas, Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City, for his immediate favorable action; the Regional Director, PBGEN. Ronaldo Genaro E. Ylagan, PNP Regional Office 9, Mercedes Road, Camp Colonel Romeo A. Abendan, Zamboanga City; the Chief of Police-Pagadian City Police Station, PLTCOL Parson J. Asadil; and the Honorable City Mayor, for their support and follow-up.
