"A RESOLUTION FORWARDING TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, FOR HIS APPROPRIATE CONSIDERATION, THE REQUEST OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE-PAGADIAN CITY POLICE STATION FOR THE PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL LOGISTICS IN SUPPORT OF THEIR OFFICIAL POLICE OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES" 

WHEREAS, by virtue of an invitation, PLTCOL Parson J. Asadil, the newly designated Chief of Police of Pagadian City Police Station, appeared before this august body during its 70th Regular Session last 10 February 2021, where he reported the accomplishments and undertakings since he assumed duty as Chief of Police and, most notably, the extensive decline in the incidence of all forms of criminality in the City; 

WHEREAS, while this Sanggunian appreciates and welcomes the accomplishments of the Pagadian City Police Station in providing security and protection to the City's constituencies and in maintaining the peace and order situation of the city, however, the concern presented by the Chief of Police on the perceived lack of motor vehicles and other logistics for use in the conduct of police operation and/or police patrol cannot be understated considering that such has been proven to be an effective tool in deterring any criminal act or intent;
 
WHEREAS, this body fully concurs with the findings and recommendations of the Chief of Police, but prudence dictates that the matter shall be forwarded to the City Chief Executive for his appropriate consideration, hence, this passage;

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it

RESOLVED, as it is hereby forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, for his appropriate consideration, the request of the Chief of Police-Pagadian City Police Station for the provision of additional logistics in support of their official police operational functions, duties and responsibilities, as herein specified, to wit:

One (1) Additional Patrol Car;
Ten (10) Motorcycles; and
Additional Fuel Allocation
 
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable action; and the Chief of Police, PLTCOL Parson J. Asadil, Pagadian City Police Station, for his information, support and follow-up.
