Quicoy "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ALLOCATE APPROPRIATE FUNDS, OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, PURPOSELY TO HELP DEFRAY THE EXPENSES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW BUILDING OF THE PROVINCIAL ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (PENRO) AT BARANGAY DAO, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, by virtue of Resolution No. 2020-0539 enacted by this august body during its 65th Regular Session held last 27 May 2020, formally offered to the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (PENRO)-Department of Environment and Natural Resources, in exchange for the lot presently utilized as its office site situated at Gatas District, the City Government-owned parcel of land, with a further commitment to shoulder the construction of a Two (2)-Storey Building thereat for use as its permanent office; WHEREAS, after a series of negotiations, both parties have come into agreement that the 752 square meter lot occupied by the PENRO which registered in the name of the Bureau of Lands shall be exchanged with the City Government-owned lot, containing an area of 1,003.51 square meters, situated at Barangay Dao, this city--such that the Honorable City Mayor, through Resolution No. 2021-0977, is now authorized to execute a Deed of Exchange for the purpose; WHEREAS, to demonstrate the sincere commitment of the City Government to shoulder the expenses for the construction of the new building of PENRO at the new site, it is thus imperatively necessary to allocate appropriate funds, out of any available sources, to help defray the expenses to be incurred in the construction of such building, hence, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor for the purpose is in order and most appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to allocate appropriate funds, out of any available sources of the City Government of Pagadian, purposely to help defray the expenses for the construction of the new building of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources (PENRO) at Barangay Dao, this city. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO)-DENR through its Provincial Officer, Mr. Ben M.
