A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANT OF TWENTY PERCENT (20%) DISCOUNT ON THE MONTHLY RENTAL RATE OF ALL STALLS CLASSIFIED AS FOR RENT/LEASE AT THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) FOR THE SPECIFIC PERIOD FROM JUNE 2020 UP TO JANUARY 2021, AND TO WAIVE THE NECESSARY PENALTIES AND/OR CHARGES INCURRED BY THE DELINQUENT LEASEHOLDER/RENTERS COVERING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 2020 TO DECEMBER 2020, PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT THE CONCERNED LEASEHOLDER/S SHALL UPDATE THEIR RESPECTIVE ACCOUNTS ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 31, 2021

"A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANT OF TWENTY PERCENT (20%) DISCOUNT ON THE MONTHLY RENTAL RATE OF ALL STALLS CLASSIFIED AS FOR RENT/LEASE AT THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) FOR THE SPECIFIC PERIOD FROM JUNE 2020 UP TO JANUARY 2021, AND TO WAIVE THE NECESSARY PENALTIES AND/OR CHARGES INCURRED BY THE DELINQUENT LEASEHOLDER/RENTERS COVERING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 2020 TO DECEMBER 2020, PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT THE CONCERNED LEASEHOLDER/S SHALL UPDATE THEIR RESPECTIVE ACCOUNTS ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 31, 2021"
 
WHEREAS, in view of the continued imposition of quarantine protocols in the City of Pagadian due to the threat of COVID-19, and taking into great consideration the financial difficulties experienced by the leaseholders/renters brought about by the current economic distress, the City Commercial Center (C3) Board, during its meeting held on 05 January 2021, passed and enacted Resolution No. 004-2021, entitled: "A resolution Recommending to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod granting additional 20% Discount on rental to all Leaseholders in the C3 from June 2020 to January 2021, provided that they should update their account on or before January 31, 2021 and waiving of penalties for Stall Rentals from March 2020 to December 2020;"
 WHEREAS, premises considered and given the foregoing predicament, this body, upon careful perusal and evaluation, finds the recommendation meritorious and worthy of support under the present economic situation; 

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it

RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the grant of Twenty Percent (20%) discount on the monthly rental rate of all stalls classified as for rent/lease at the City Commercial Center (C3) for the specific period from June 2020 up to January 2021, and to waive the necessary penalties and/or charges incurred by the delinquent leaseholder/renters covering the period from March 2020 to December 2020, provided, however, that the concerned leaseholder/s shall update their respective accounts on or before January 31, 2021.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished the City Commercial Center (C3) Board through Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the C3 Board; and the Manager-City Commercial Center (C3), for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
