Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING SINCEREST THANKS TO THE VOLUNTEER MEDICAL DOCTORS, NURSES, LABORATORY TECHNICIANS, PSYCHOLOGISTS AND OTHER MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS FOR THEIR SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION AND LAUDABLE SERVICE THAT LED TO THE SUCCESSFUL CONTAINMENT AND/OR CONTROL OF THE RISING CASES OF THE CORONA VIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, concerned and alarmed over the rising number of infected cases of COVID-19 in the city, the City Government of Pagadian through the Honorable City Mayor and, by virtue of Executive Order No. 81, has established and operated the Pagadian City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) purposely to monitor, assess and serve as an overseer of all government activities with the end in view of controlling, if not containing, the COVID-19 cases in the city, and invited those in the medical field to voluntarily extend their services for the people of Pagadian; WHEREAS, several private medical doctors/practitioners, nurses, laboratory technicians, psychologists and other medical workers have heeded the call and offered their services in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) where it has been observed that their significant contribution and laudable service which were very much visible and accessible to those needing medical aid has been a contributory factor towards the successful containment and/or control of the rising cases of such dreaded disease; WHEREAS, such that the valuable contribution, all-out support and dedicated effort exhibited by the volunteer medical workers deserve all the recognition and sincere appreciation from the entire populace of Pagadian City; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, it was RESOLVED to commend and express sincerest thanks, as this body hereby commends and expresses sincerest thanks to the medical doctors, nurses, medical technologists and psychologists for their significant contribution and laudable service that led to the successful containment and/or control of the rising cases of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co; and Dr. Noel E. Ceniza, City Health Officer, for information and proper dissemination.
