RESOLUTION NO. 2021-0932 Sponsored by: Committee on Ways & Means) "A RESOLUTION UPDATING THE SIGNATORIES FOR THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN WITH REFERENCE TO THE CURRENT BANK ACCOUNT WITH THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK (PNB)-PAGADIAN BRANCH PARTICULARLY UNDER THE ACCOUNT OF THE CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE COVERING ACCOUNT NO. 413770001333 TO CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO AND CITY ENGINEER GERRY B. NEBRIA AND, AUTHORIZING THE HEREIN-NAMED SIGNATORIES TO EFFECT THE CLOSURE OF SUCH BANK ACCOUNT AND TRANSFER THE SAME TO THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES (LBP)-PAGADIAN BRANCH UNDER THE TRUST FUND OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor forwarded to this august body the letter from the City Treasurer relative to the City Government's current bank account with the Philippine National Bank (PNB)-Pagadian Branch particularly under the account of the City Engineer's Office covering Account No. 413770001333 and with a deposit balance of P53,995.32 which is being subjected to a monthly charge due to dormancy; WHEREAS, as a measure to prevent the said account from being depleted and consumed due to monthly charges, it is thus being sought to update the signatories of such bank account so as to effect the immediate closure of the same and transfer it to the Land Bank of the Philippines-Pagadian Branch under the Trust Fund of the City Government of Pagadian; WHEREAS, this body, after careful perusal of the foregoing request and, in consideration of the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committee to which the foregoing matter was referred for initial evaluation and consideration, deems it in order to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to update, as this body hereby updates the signatories for the City Government of Pagadian with reference to the current bank account with the Philippine National Bank (PNB)-Pagadian Branch particularly under the account of the City Engineer's Office covering Account No. 413770001333, as specified herein, namely: City Mayor - Samuel S. Co City Engineer - Gerry D. Nebria RESOLVED, FURTHER, to authorize the above-named officials to immediately effect the closure of the foregoing bank account and transfer the same to the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP)-Pagadian Branch under the Trust Fund of the City Government of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the Engr. Gerry B. Nebria, City Engineer; and Ms. Nona Grace E.
