RESOLUTION NO. 2021-0911 (Sponsored by: Committee on Education, Science and Technology and Accreditation of NGOs and POs) "A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AND FAVORABLY ENDORSING THE FRACTIONALIZATION OF THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (ZSNHS), SITUATED AT BARANGAY SANTA MARIA, THIS CITY, INTO FOUR (4) CAMPUSES, NAMELY: CAMPUS A--TO BE NAMED AND REFERRED TO AS THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING PROGRAM; CAMPUS B--TO BE NAMED AND REFERRED TO AS THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL PROGRAM IN SPORTS; CAMPUS C--TO BE NAMED AND REFERRED TO AS THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL PROGRAM IN ARTS; AND CAMPUS D--TO BE NAMED AND REFERRED TO AS THE ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FOR SENIOR HIGH" WHEREAS, the Pagadian City Schools Division Superintendent, by way of a letter-request, sought the endorsement of this august body for the fractionalization of the Zamboanga del Sur National High School, situated at Barangay Santa Maria, this city, into four (4) campuses, namely: Campus A-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Science and Technology Program; Campus B-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Special Program in Sports; Campus C-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Special Program in Arts; and Campus D-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Senior High; WHEREAS, such proposal was anchored on the fact that the Zamboanga del Sur National High School is currently the largest public school in the city and the entire province of Zamboanga del Sur where data shows a total of 5,689 enrollees/students with 151 teachers and 35 non-teaching personnel and managed only by one (1) school principal and assisted by eight (8) head teachers who supervise at least twenty-seven (27) teacher each; WHEREAS, the Committee on Education, Science & Technology and Accreditation of NGOs and POs-to which the foregoing request was referred for initial evaluation and consideration-recommended its favorable indorsement, which recommendation-upon careful perusal and evaluation-merited the support and concurrence of this august body in order to maintain and uphold efficiency and quality education of such institution, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to support and favorably endorse, as this body hereby supports and favorably endorses the fractionalization of the Zamboanga del Sur National High School (ZSNHS), situated at Barangay Santa Maria, this city, into four (4) campuses, namely: Campus A-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Science and Technology Engineering Program; Campus B-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Special Program in Sports; Campus C-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Special Program in Arts; and Campus D-to be named and referred to as the Zamboanga del Sur National High School for Senior High. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable Secretary Leonor M. Briones, Department of Education, DepEd Complex, Meralco Avenue, Pasig City, Metro Manila, for her information and favorable action; to the Regional Director, Dr. Isabelita Borres, DepEd-Regional Office 9, Pres. Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center, Pagadian City; the OIC-City Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Danny B. Cordova, EdD, and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
