RESOLUTION NO. 2021-0908 ( Sponsored by: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY SUPPORTING THE INTENTION OF THE PAGADIAN CITY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER, AS ENUNCIATED IN ITS RESOLUTION NO. 3-2021, WHICH, IN GIST, REQUESTED CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO CREATE THE VACCINE OPERATIONS CENTER IN PREPARATION FOR THE MASSIVE COVID-19 VACCINATIONS IN PAGADIAN CITY" WHEREAS, consistent with the national government's desire to vaccinate at least Seventy Percent (70%) of the population to attain the so-called herd immunity from COVID-19 pursuant to the Philippine National Vaccination Program and Implementation Plan, Pagadian City Emergency Operations Center, by way of Resolution No. 3-2021, requested the Honorable City Mayor to create the Vaccine Operations Center in preparation for the massive COVID-19 vaccinations in Pagadian City; WHEREAS, finding importance and urgency of the foregoing request, this body deems it imperatively necessary to manifest its strong support thereto, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to strongly support, as it is hereby strongly supported the intention of the Pagadian City Emergency Operations Center, as enunciated in its Resolution No. 3 - 2021, which, in gist, requested City Mayor Samuel S. Co to create the Vaccine Operations Center in preparation for the massive COVID-19 vaccinations in Pagadian City. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and favorable consideration; and to the Pagadian City Emergency Operations Center through Executive Officer Audrey B. Cabato, for information, support and follow-up.
