RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0895 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANT AND RELEASE OF SERVICE RECOGNITION INCENTIVE (SRI) TO ALL CITY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, REGULAR PLANTILLA PERSONNEL AND CASUAL OR CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEES AT THE RATE OF SIX THOUSAND (P6,000.00) PESOS" WHEREAS, in recognition of the collective and unceasing participation in and invaluable contribution to the present administration's continuing effort toward the establishment of streamlined government processes and more responsive delivery of public services, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, His Excellency, President Rodrigo R. Duterte, issued Administrative Order (AO) No. 37, dated 18 December 2020, which, in gist, grants a one-time Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for each government employee for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 at a uniform rate not exceeding Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000); WHEREAS, Section 6 of the foregoing Order authorizes Local Government Units to grant such Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for all its officials and employees--whether holding a permanent/regular, contractual or casual position including those workers charged against the savings of the concerned LGUs--subject to the budgetary condition that the grant shall be within the Personal Services limitation under Section 325(a) and 331(b) of Republic Act No. 7160; WHEREAS, in relation thereto, the City Government, after having determined the availability of fund savings, may be able to grant such benefit to each of the officials and employees in the amount of Six Thousand (P6,000.00) Pesos; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the grant and release of Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to all City Government Officials, Regular Plantilla Personnel and Casual or Contractual Employees at the rate of Six Thousand (P6,000.00) Pesos. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished the Honorable City Mayor, the City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer, and the City Auditor, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
