RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0879 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 4, CONTAINING AN AREA OF FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (5,500) SQUARE METERS, WITHIN THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER SITE IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRARIAN REFORM (DAR), AS SITE FOR ITS REGIONAL OFFICE AND AUTHORIZING, FOR THE PURPOSE, HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO SIGN AND EXECUTE THE DEED OF DONATION FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS; with the desire and intention to fully implement the transfer of all Regional Offices from Zamboanga City to Pagadian City, the City Government, by virtue of the authority of the Sangguniang Panlungsod through its Resolution No. 2009-0691, grants, by way of Deeds of Donation, to the transferring regional offices the allocation and distribution of the areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City; WHEREAS, the City Government has identified and defined Lot No. 2, Block 4 thereat as site for the Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Office 9, after considering its space requirements; WHEREAS, a Deed of Donation for the purpose was endorsed to this body by the Honorable City Mayor with a request for authority to correspondingly sign the document formalizing the allocation of the area which document, upon review by this body, is deemed in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation of Lot 2, Block 4, containing an area of Five Thousand Five Hundred (5,500) square meters, within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center Site in Barangay Balintawak, this city, to the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) as site for its Regional Office and authorizing, for the purpose, Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to sign and execute the Deed of Donation for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action, the City Legal Officer; to His Honor, Atty. John R. Castriciones, Secretary of the Department of Agrarian Reform, DAR Building, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City; Atty. Ramon E. Madronal, Regional Director, DAR-Regional Office 9; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
