RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0849 (Sponsored by: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER TO BE PRESENT DURING THE 63RD REGULAR SESSION OF THE 13TH CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 09, 2020 AT 9:00 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING, PURPOSELY TO APPRISE AND PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE VARIOUS LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT TO INCLUDE THE SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD) AS WELL AS ALL OTHER RELATED MATTERS" WHEREAS, information revealed that the City Government through the City Social Welfare and Development Office had been implementing various livelihood programs to help promote and uplift the economic status of those considered to be vulnerable sectors of the society; WHEREAS, in order to keep track on the progress and development in the implementation of the foregoing programs, the presence and attendance of the City Social Welfare and Development Officer during the scheduled 63rd Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod on 09 December 2020 at 9:00 o'clock in the morning to shed light on the matter is most appropriate at this prevailing circumstance; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Social Welfare and Development Officer to be present during the 63rd Regular Session of the 13th City Council on December 09, 2020 at 9:00 o'clock in the morning, purposely to apprise and provide an update on the status of the implementation of the various livelihood programs of the City Government to include the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as well as all other related matters. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Honorable City Mayor, for his immediate favorable consideration; and to Ms. Pilar Leslie S.
