RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0844 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES (LBP), IN RELATION TO THE IMPLEMENTATION AND/OR ESTABLISHMENT OF A LIVELIHOOD LOAN PROGRAM FOR ALL QUALIFIED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), in partnership with the City Government of Pagadian seeks to launch a Livelihood Loan Program for qualified City Government employees; WHEREAS, in relation thereto, as the establishment of the program will necessarily require the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement by and between the Land Bank of the Philippines and the City Government of Pagadian which would require the Honorable City Mayor to be appropriately authorized by the Sangguniang Panlungsod to enter into and sign the document thus a request for such purpose was made; WHEREAS, this body finds the requested authority in order for the benefit of the intended beneficiaries-the City Government personnel; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), in relation to the implementation and/or establishment of a Livelihood Loan Program for all qualified employees of the City Government of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the Land Bank of the Philippines through its Branch Head, Ms. Susan N.
