RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0843 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES FOR THE AVAILMENT OF THE LATTER'S AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE (ATM) PAYROLL SERVICING FACILITY" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, sought for legislative authority to enter into an ATM Payroll Servicing Agreement with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) with a pro-forma Memorandum of Agreement attached thereto, and transmitted the same to this august body with a request for its urgent consideration; WHEREAS, the body, after careful perusal and evaluation and finding importance of the foregoing request, deems it appropriate and in order to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into an ATM Payroll Servicing Agreement with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP); NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Land Bank of the Philippines for the availment of the latter's Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Payroll Servicing Facility. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor, this City, for his appropriate action; to the City Legal Officer, this City, and the Branch Head, LBP-Pagadian City Office, for their reference; and to the City Treasurer and the City Auditor, all of Pagadian City, for their information and guidance.
