RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0822 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXTEND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND (P150,000.00) PESOS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE GIRL SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES--ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR GIRL SCOUT COUNCIL (GSP-ZDS) TO HELP DEFRAY EXPENSES FOR THE CONDUCT OF ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GIRL SCOUT IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN, CHARGEABLE AGAINST ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, in line with its thrust and advocacy to develop and mold young girls who are bona fide member of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur (GSP-ZDS) Girl Scouts Council, by way of Resolution No. 02, s. 2020, sought financial assistance from the City Government of Pagadian through the Honorable City Mayor to help defray any and all expenses necessary for the conduct of related developmental activities for the Girls Scout of the city; WHEREAS, finding importance and urgency of the foregoing request, this body, taking into consideration that such proposed activity is consistent with the City Government's priority social development programs, deems it reasonable and appropriate to support the same by granting the amount of P150,000.00, chargeable against any available fund sources of the City Government of Pagadian; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to extend One Hundred Fifty Thousand (P150,000.00) Pesos financial assistance to the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Zamboanga del Sur (GSP-ZDS) Girl Scout Council--Pagadian City to help defray expenses for the conduct of activities related to the development of the girl scout in the City of Pagadian, chargeable against any available fund sources of the City Government of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and favorable consideration; to the City Budget Officer; to the City Accountant; to the City Treasurer; and to the Girl Scouts of the Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur Girl Scout Council (GSP-ZDS), Pagadian City, through its Council President, Dr. Elizabeth S.
