RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0803 (Sponsored by: Committee on Games, Amusements and Sports) "A RESOLUTION ADVISING THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF TUBURAN TO FURNISH THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (CSWDO) WITH A COPY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 2020-001, FOR ITS INFORMATION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE EXTENSION OF ASSISTANCE TO THE BARANGAY SAFEKEEPING OFFICE FOR MINORS AS TO THE PROFILING AND COUNSELING OF THE APPREHENDED MINORS AND TO THE ORIENTATION OF THEIR PARENTS AND/OR GUARDIANS" WHEREAS, following the confirmation of the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 2020-001 of the Barangay Council of Tuburan, the body took cognizance on the need to properly apprise the concerned City Government office/department regarding the existence of such measure to allow the said office to extend assistance to the barangay in the enforcement of the ordinance particularly on the proper management as well as the conduct of the necessary profiling and counselling of the apprehended minors and orientation of their parents and/or guardians; WHEREAS, based on the favorable recommendation of the Committee on Games, Amusements and Sports, to which the foregoing concern was referred for initial consideration, it is thus necessary to advise the Barangay Government of Tuburan to provide a copy of the said legislation to the City Social Welfare and Development Office for their information and appropriate action; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to advise, as this body hereby advises the Barangay Government of Tuburan to furnish the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) with a copy of Barangay Ordinance No. 2020-001, for its information and appropriate action with reference to the extension of assistance to the barangay safekeeping office for minors as to the profiling and counseling of the apprehended minors and to the orientation of their parents and/or guardians. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Barangay Government of Tuburan through its Punong Barangay, for consideration and appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
