RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0802 (Sponsored by: Committee on Games, Amusements and Sports) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 2020-001 OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF TUBURAN ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF INTERNET CAFES', PESONET, COMPUTER GAMING SHOP AND OTHER NIGHT AMUSEMENT ACTIVITIES SPECIFICALLY: VIDEOKE, VIDEO SINGKO, BAR HOUSES AND OTHER AMPLIFIED SOUNDS, IN THE ELEVEN (11) PUROKS OF TUBURAN DISTRICT, PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, PROVIDING SAFEKEEPING GUIDELINES FOR MINORS AND PENALTIES THEREFORE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES"" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Tuburan, this City, enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 2020-001, which, in gist, regulates the operation of Internet Cafes', Pesonet, Computer Gaming Shop and Other Night Amusement Activities specifically: Videoke, Video Singko, Bar Houses and Other Amplified Sounds, in the Eleven (11) Puroks of Tuburan District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Providing Safekeeping Guidelines for Minors and Penalties Therefore, and for Other Purposes, and submitted the same to this august body for review and confirmation as mandated under R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the Committee on Games, Amusements and Sports, to which the foregoing concern was referred for initial consideration, found the same in order in substance and in form and thus, by way of Committee Report No. 253, recommended its confirmation, which recommendation was subsequently concurred by the body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 2020-001 of the Barangay Council of Tuburan entitled: "An Ordinance Regulating the Operation of Internet Cafes, Pesonet, Computer Gaming Shop and Other Night Amusement Activities Specifically: Videoke, Video Singko, Bar Houses and Other Amplified Sounds, in the Eleven (11) Puroks of Tuburan District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Providing Safekeeping Guidelines for Minors and Penalties Therefore, and for Other Purposes." RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Sangguniang Barangay of Tuburan through the Honorable Punong Barangay; the City Local Government Operations Officer and others concerned, for their information and guidance.
