RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0799 (Sponsored by: Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HIS HONOR, GOVERNOR VICTOR J. YU, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, TO DIRECT THE PROVINCIAL INTER- AGENCY TASK FORCE (PIATF) TO PROVIDE THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN THROUGH THE CITY INTER-AGENCY TASK FORCE (CIATF) WITH A COPY OF THE REPORT/LIST OF POSITIVE COVID-19 PATIENTS OF THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, FOR ITS INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE" WHEREAS, it cannot be denied that the number of individuals infected with COVID-19 in our locality has reached to an alarming level which prompted the Local Officials of the city to adopt appropriate measures based on a whole-of-the-community approach such as, but not limited to, the intensification of real time contact tracing and strengthening of containment procedures to prevent, if not control, the further spread of such disease; WHEREAS, notwithstanding such measures, it is however the belief and conviction of this august body, in line with the duly accepted principle, to be duly provided with appropriate and detailed information on all positive COVID-19 patients in the entire province to serve as a guide in instituting appropriate measures to better address such pandemic; WHEREAS, for this purpose, requesting the Honorable Provincial Governor of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur to direct the Provincial IATF to provide the City Government of Pagadian through the City IATF with all the necessary information in relation to positive COVID-19 patients in the province is imperative; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests His Honor, Governor Victor J. Yu, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, to direct the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (PIATF), to provide the City Government of Pagadian through the City Inter-Agency Task Force (CIATF) with a copy of the report/list positive COVID-19 patients of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur, for its information and guidance. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, Governor Victor J. Yu, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the Head-Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force, for guidance and appropriate action; and to the Honorable City Mayor, for information, support and follow-up.
