RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0787 (Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION ADVISING THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF UPPER SIBATANG, THROUGH THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, TO TAKE NOTE AND STRICTLY ADHERE TO THE OBSERVATIONS, FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS AS CONTAINED IN THE AUDIT OBSERVATION MEMORANDUM ISSUED BY THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT AS WELL AS ALL OTHER RELATED DBM MEMORANDUM CIRCULARS" WHEREAS, the City Auditor furnished copy to this august body with its audit report and findings for the years ended 2017, 2018 and 2019 of Barangay Upper Sibatang; WHEREAS, the Committee on Finance and Appropriations, to which the said report was referred, recommended to direct the concerned Barangay Government Unit to take note and adhere to the audit observation and comply with the recommendations therein as well as other related DBM Memorandum Circulars so as to uphold the interest of the government particularly in the management of their funds, hence, this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to advise, as this body hereby advises the Barangay Government of Upper Sibatang, through the Honorable City Mayor, to take note and strictly adhere to the observations, findings and recommendations as contained in the Audit Observation Memorandum issued by the Commission on Audit as well as all other related DBM Memorandum Circulars. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Upper Sibatang, thru the Barangay Chairman, for consideration and/or appropriate action.
