RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0774 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO INITIATE THE CONDUCT OF LAND SURVEY AND CAUSE THE SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 2851 (COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE CITY OVAL), PURPOSELY TO DELINEATE THE LOT AREA THAT HAS BEEN DISPOSED OF THROUGH SALE AS WELL AS UNDERTAKE ALL NECESSARY PROCESSES FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE SUBDIVISION PLAN BY THE APPROPRIATE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY, AND THEREAFTER FILE THE NECESSARY PETITION FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A SEPARATE TITLES BASED ON THE APPROVED SUBDIVISION PLAN" WHEREAS, the City of Government of Pagadian is the owner of a parcel of land known as Lot No. 2851 (commonly known as the City Oval), covered by Original Certificate of Title No. O-3,376, situated at San Francisco District, this city, and portion of the said lot has been disposed of by way of a Deed of Sale; WHEREAS, in view of the foregoing development, it is thus imperatively necessary to have Lot No. 2851 relocated and subdivided purposely to delineate and segregate the lot area being disposed of from the lot area retained with the City Government--after which the subdivision plan shall be forwarded to the concerned national government agency for approval as a requisite for the filing of appropriate petition with the Registry of Deeds for the issuance of separate titles thereto; WHEREAS, to ensure the pursuance of the foregoing intention, there is a necessity to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to do and perform the following acts specified above as well as to execute and sign any and all documents necessary for the purpose, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants authority to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to initiate the conduct of land survey and cause the subdivision of the City Government-Owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 2851 (commonly known as the City Oval), purposely to delineate the lot area that has been disposed of through sale as well as undertake all necessary processes for the approval of the subdivision plan by the appropriate National Government Agency, and thereafter file the necessary petition for the issuance of a separate titles based on the approved subdivision plan. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; and to the City Legal Officer, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
