"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DONATE, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED (1,100) SQUARE METER LOT, MORE SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED AND KNOWN AS PORTION OF LOT NO. 2915 OF THE PAGADIAN PUBLIC LANDS SUBDIVISION, PLS-119, CADASTRAL CASE NO. N-17, LRC CADASTRAL RECORD NO. N-468, COVERED BY TRANSFER OF CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. T-36,560, SITUATED AT BARANGAY LUMBIA, THIS CITY, FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE AS NEW SITE OF THE PABLO LITIGIO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" 

WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian through the Honorable City Mayor, by virtue of the authority of this august body through Resolution No. 2020-0718, has purchased a parcel of land known as Lot 2915, Pls-119 covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-36,560, containing an area of 1,271 square meters, situated at Barangay Lumbia, this city, for the exclusive use as new site of the Pablo Litigio Elementary School;

WHEREAS, in order for the Department of Education (DepEd) to proceed with the use of the said property as the new site of the Pablo Litigio Elementary School, there is a necessity that its ownership be rightfully transferred in favor of the Department of Education to allow the concerned national government agency to introduce further development of the area;

WHEREAS, finding no legal impediment thereto, this body deems it practical and reasonable to convey and/or transfer the ownership of the portion of the above-described parcel of land containing an area of 1,100 square meters only to the Department of Education provided that it must solely be for the use of the Pablo Litigio Elementary School;

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it

RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to donate, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the One Thousand One Hundred (1,100) square meter lot, more specifically identified and known as portion of Lot No. 2915 of the Pagadian Public Lands Subdivision, Pls-119, Cadastral Case No. N-17, LRC Cadastral Record No. N-468, covered by Transfer of Certificate of Title No. T-36,560, situated at Barangay Lumbia, this city, for the exclusive use as new site of the Pablo Litigio Elementary School.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action; to the City Legal Officer; and to the Department of Education through the City Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Danny B. Cordova, CESO VI, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
