RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0738 (Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION INFORMING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR THAT HIS REQUEST FOR THE CREATION OF VARIOUS PERSONNEL POSITIONS IN THE PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY ACTED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD THROUGH THE PASSAGE OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-421, WITH A FURTHER RECOMMENDATION TO DIRECT THE LOCAL FINANCE COMMITTEE TO PRIORITIZE THE INCORPORATION OF APPROPRIATE FUNDING IN THE CALENDAR YEAR 2021 ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN FOR THE SALARIES AND OTHER BENEFITS OF THE SAID PERSONNEL POSITIONS" WHEREAS, in order to ensure the approval of the City Government's application for the renewal of the license to operate the Pagadian City Infirmary with the Department of Health (DOH)-Regional Office IX, the necessary personnel complement to operationalize the said infirmary is necessary, such that the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, sought for the creation of the various personnel positions under the Pagadian City Infirmary where the funding for the salaries and other benefits shall be incorporated in the Calendar Year 2021 Annual Budget of the City Government of Pagadian; WHEREAS, this body, after finding that the foregoing request had already been created by the Sangguniang Panlungsod through City Ordinance No. 2019-421, deems it prim and proper to direct the Local Finance Committee to prioritize the incorporation in the Calendar Year 2021 Annual Budget of the City Government of Pagadian the necessary funding for the various personnel positions in the Pagadian City Infirmary, hence, this recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to inform, as this body hereby informs the Honorable City Mayor that his request for the creation of various personnel positions in the Pagadian City Infirmary had been previously acted by the Sangguniang Panlungsod through the passage of City Ordinance No. 2019-421.
