RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0723 (Sponsored by: Committee on Education, Science & Technology & Accreditation of NGOs & POs) "A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND ACCREDITING THE GUBANG FARMERS AGRARIAN REFORM BENEFICIARIES COOPERATIVE (GUFARBECO), AS A NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, the Gubang Farmers Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (GUFARBECO), with office address at Purok Centro, Barangay Gubang, this city, and registered with the Cooperative Development Authority, applied for accreditation as legitimate organization existing and operating in Pagadian City pursuant to the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991; WHEREAS, the Committee on Education, Science, Technology & Accreditation-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-recommended favorable action on the application after having verified that the credentials submitted by GUFARBECO substantially complied with the requisites stipulated under City Ordinance No. 2010-304; WHEREAS, this body supports the recommendation with the view of generating the widest community participation in the government's pursuit for accelerated socio-economic development in the countryside; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to recognize and accredit, as this body hereby recognizes and accredits the Gubang Farmers Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (GUFARBECO), as a non-government organization operating in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to Mr. Ramil S. Cimafranca, Chairman- Gubang Farmers Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (GUFARBECO); the City Local Government Operations Officer; the City Planning & Development Coordinator; and to the Honorable City Mayor, all of this city, for their information, guidance and reference.
