RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0715 (Sponsored by: Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang) A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HONORABLE DIVINA GRACE C. YU, REPRESENTATIVE, FIRST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT--PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPRESENTATION TO ASCERTAIN THE INCLUSION OF APPROPRIATE BUDGETARY ALLOCATION FOR THE SAN PEDRO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT (GAA) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2021 WHEREAS, the Department of Education through its Regional Office No. IX, by virtue of Government Authority (R-IX) No. 0002, s. 2020, granted the Zamboanga del Sur National High School--San Pedro Annex, situated at San Pedro District, this City, Government Authority to separate from its mother school and shall be named San Pedro National High School, effective School Year 2020-2021; WHEREAS, the directive separating the San Pedro National High School from its mother school is a very welcome development as it considers the same a great opportunity to further advance and strengthen the city's mandate to provide quality secondary education for the benefit of the high school students in the area as well as in the neighboring barangays; WHEREAS, to ensure an unhampered and uninterrupted delivery of quality secondary education, the incorporation and/or inclusion of appropriate budgetary allocation for the newly separated school in the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for Calendar Year 2021 is required, such that requesting the Honorable Congresswoman of the First Congressional District of Zamboanga Del Sur to intercede for the purpose is most prim and proper; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as it is hereby earnestly requested Honorable Divina Grace C. Yu, Representative, 1st Congressional District--Province of Zamboanga del Sur, to make the necessary representation to ascertain the inclusion of appropriate budgetary allocation for the San Pedro National High School in the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for Calendar Year 2021. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Her Honor, Congresswoman Divina Grace C. Yu, Representative, First Congressional District-- Province of Zamboanga del Sur, for her favorable consideration and appropriate action; to the Honorable City Mayor; and Ms. Shirley P.
