RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0706 (Sponsored by: Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia) A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN-BEING THE PARTY OF THE FIRST PART-INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE HUGPONG FEDERAL RIDERS GROUP, INCORPORATED-BEING THE PARTY OF THE SECOND PART-ON THE MATTER OF EXTENDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTY THOUSAND (P30,000.00) PESOS PURPOSELY TO FINANCE THE VARIOUS PROJECT-RELATED ACTIVITIES OF THE LATTER" WHEREAS, in line with their forthcoming 1st Year Anniversary celebration, the Hugpong Federal Riders Group, Incorporated-a duly accredited non-government organization of the city whose objective is to provide technical and transport assistance in times of disaster and utmost needs as well as assist as an auxiliary force in promoting various government programs and networking services-sought financial assistance with the City Government to help defray necessary expenses for the various activities lined up for the said occasion; WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor recommended the extension of financial support in the amount of Thirty Thousand (P30,000.00) Pesos and favorably endorsed the same to this august body for its appropriate consideration; WHEREAS, to effectively pursue such objective, a Memorandum of Agreement is set to be formalized to specify the terms and conditions as well as the tasks, function and responsibilities of the involved parties for which this Sanggunian finds reason and necessity to grant unto the Honorable City Mayor, the legislative authority he is seeking to sign the same for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian-being the Party of the First Part-into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Hugpong Federal Riders Group, Incorporated-being the Party of the Second Part-on the matter of extending financial assistance in the amount of Thirty Thousand (P30,000.00) Pesos purposely to finance the various project-related activities of the latter. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the City Legal Officer; and Mr. Roldan M. Duhaylungsod, City Chairman, Hugpong Federal Riders Group, Incorporated, for their information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
