Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE, BY WAY OF A DEED OF ABSOLUTE SALE, A PORTION OF A PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY MS. ANITA T. CALINGGANGAN KNOWN AS LOT NO. 5881-J-PART, PSD-09-029555, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. T-28,711, WITH AN AGGREGATE AREA OF SEVEN THOUSAND THIRTY-EIGHT (7,038) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED (P2,463,300.00) PESOS, WHICH AREA SHALL BE USED/UTILIZED AS AN ADDITIONAL SITE OF THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), by virtue of Resolution No. 2019-0038, authorized the Honorable City Mayor to negotiate the purchase of parcels of land, preferably the adjacent lots, for use as additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center at Barangay Balintawak, this City; WHEREAS, in view thereof, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, informed this body that a parcel of land-adjacent to the present regional center site-known as portion of Lot No. 5881-J-Part, Psd-09-029555, specifically covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-28,711, with an area of Seven Thousand Thirty-Eight (7,038) square meters, is being offered for sale to the City Government in the amount based on the appraised value of P350.00 per square meter set by the City Appraisal Committee through its Resolution No. 1, series of 2020, and for which a request for an authority to purchase the same is being sought by the City Chief Executive; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase, by way of a deed of absolute sale, a portion of a parcel of land owned by Ms. Anita T. Calinggangan known as Lot No. 5881-J-Part, Psd-09-029555, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-28,711, with an aggregate area of Seven Thousand Thirty-Eight (7,038) square meters, situated at Barangay Balintawak, this city, in the amount of Two Million Four Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand Three Hundred (P2,463,300.00) Pesos, which area shall be used/utilized as an additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information, guidance and appropriate action.
