RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0677 (Sponsored by: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION INFORMING THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG), THROUGH THE CITY LOCAL GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS OFFICER, THAT THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN IS DULY COMPLIANT WITH ITS UNNUMBERED MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR, DATED 23 JULY 2020" WHEREAS, on 23 July 2020, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) issued Unnumbered Memorandum Circular, on the subject: "Enactment and/or amendment of existing Local Ordinances to include penal provisions to strengthen implementation of quarantine and health safety standards protocols to contain COVID-19," and furnished this august body for information and consideration; WHEREAS, this body, following the information provided by the Committee on Health and Social Services, to which the foregoing matter was referred for preliminary evaluation and consideration, that the City Government of Pagadian had already complied with the foregoing issuance, deems it appropriate and in order to notify the DILG on the city's compliance of the foregoing order, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to inform, as this body hereby informs the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), through the City Local Government Operations Officer, that the City Government of Pagadian is duly compliant with its Unnumbered Memorandum Circular, dated 23 July 2020. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Department of the Interior and Local Government, through the City Local Government Operations Officer, Mr. Farouk Escobar, for their information and guidance.
