RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0672 (Sponsored by: Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PERMISSION FROM THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR FOR THE CONDUCT OF A THREE (3)-DAY MOBILE EMISSION TESTING FOR GASOLINE AND DIESEL VEHICLES AT THE CITY SPORTS OVAL COMPLEX, BARANGAY SAN FRANCISCO, THIS CITY, ON AUGUST 2027-29, 2020" WHEREAS, in view of the rising demand of motor vehicle owners in the City for the operation of accredited emission testing center, a private emission testing center from the Municipality of Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay, will be conducting a 3-day Mobile Emission Testing for gasoline and diesel vehicles in the City on August 2027-29, 2020; WHEREAS, considering the space requirement to effectively pursue such activities, it is the intention and desire of the Sangguniang Panlungsod to accommodate the same at the City Sports Oval Complex situated at Barangay San Francisco, this City, hence, requesting the Honorable City Mayor to allow the utilization of the afore-mentioned area is most appropriate at this prevailing circumstance; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests permission from the Honorable City Mayor for the conduct of a Three (3)-day Mobile Emission Testing for gasoline and diesel vehicles at the City Sports Oval Complex, Barangay San Francisco, this city, on August 2027-29, 2020. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information, guidance and appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
