RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0652 (Sponsored by: Committee on Ways and Means) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE VALIDITY OF BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 02, OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF BALANGASAN, THIS CITY, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A UNIFIED/STANDARD BARANGAY CLEARANCE FEE AND OTHER BARANGAY FEES OR CHARGES" WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Balangasan enacted Barangay Ordinance No. 2, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing a Unified/Standard Barangay Clearance Fee and Other Barangay Fees or Charges," and submitted the same to this august body in accordance of R.A. 7160 for review and confirmation; WHEREAS, the Committee on Ways and Means, to which the foregoing concern was referred for preliminary review, verbally recommended for the confirmation thereof by the body as no legal impediment and/or infringement have been found that will obviate the enforcement of the same; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the validity of Barangay Ordinance No. 2, of the Barangay Council of Balangasan, this city, entitled: "An Ordinance Establishing a Unified/Standard Barangay Clearance Fee and Other Barangay Fees or Charges." RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to the Barangay Council of Balangasan through its Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
