RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0643 (Sponsored by: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 036 ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 (PENAL PROVISIONS) OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2020-438, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE MANDATORY USE OR WEARING OF FACE MASK IN ALL PUBLIC PLACES OF PAGADIAN CITY DURING OR ON OCASSION OF A DECLARED NATIONAL OR LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY DUE TO AN EPIDEMIC DISEASES TRANSMISSIBLE THROUGH DROPLETS OR AIRBORNE, AND PROVIDING VIOLATION THEREOF, ON SECOND READING AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No.036 on Second Reading, and following the incorporation of some amendments thereto, finds the measure sufficient in form and in substance and most applicable under the present circumstances; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 036 entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Section 7 (Penal Provisions) of City Ordinance No. 2020-438, entitled: "An Ordinance Requiring the Mandatory Use or Wearing of Face Mask in All Public Places of Pagadian City During or on Occasion of a Declared National or Local Public Health Emergency Due to an Epidemic Diseases Transmissible Through Droplets or Airborne, and Providing Violation Thereof, on Second Reading and for its consideration on Third and Final Reading.
