Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE, BY WAY OF A DEED OF ABSOLUTE SALE, THE PARCELS OF LAND OWNED BY MR. ESPERIDION ACLA KNOWN AS LOT NO. 5210-A-A-7, BSD-09-002212-AR/VLT, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. E-1,590, WITH AN AGGREGATE AREA OF TEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX (10,836) SQUARE METERS, AND LOT NO. 5210-A-11, BSD-09-002212-AR/VLT, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. E-1,594, WITH AN AGGREGATE LAND AREA OF TEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED ELEVEN (10,811) SQUARE METERS, BOTH SITUATED AT BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE (P3,571,755.00) PESOS, WHICH AREA SHALL BE USED/UTILIZED AS AN ADDITIONAL SITE OF THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), by virtue of Resolution No. 2019-0038, authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to negotiate the purchase of parcels of land, preferably the adjacent lots, for use as additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center at Barangay Balintawak, this City; WHEREAS, in view thereof, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, informed this body that parcels of land-adjacent to the present regional center site-known as Lot No. 5210-A-A-7, Bsd-09-002212-AR/VLT, Pls 119 specifically covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. E-1,590, with an area of 10,836 square meters, and Lot No. 5210-A-11 Bsd-09-002212-AR/VLT, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. E-1,594, with an area of 10,811 are being offered for sale to the City Government in the amount based on the appraised value of P165.00 per square meter set by the City Appraisal Committee through its Resolution No. 7, series of 2020, and for which a request for an authority to purchase the same is being sought by the City Chief Executive; WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of such objective, it is thus imperative to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of a Deed of Absolute Sale for the purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as it is hereby authorized the Honorable City Mayor to purchase, by way of a Deed of Absolute Sale, the parcels of land owned by Mr. Esperidion Acla known as Lot No. 5210-A-A-7, Bsd-09-002212-AR/VLT, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. E-1,590, with an aggregate area of Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Six (10,836) square meters and Lot No. 5210-A-11 Bsd-09-002212-AR/VLT, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. E-1,594, with an aggregate land area of Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Eleven (10,811) square meters both situated at Barangay Balintawak, this city, in the total amount of Three Million Five Hundred Seventy-One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Five (P3,571,755.00) Pesos, which area shall be used/utilized as an additional site of the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information, guidance and appropriate action.
