RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0632 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF FIFTEEN (15) UNITS OF HANDHELD RADIOS INCLUDING ITS ACCESSORIES AND BASE ANTENNA TO THE 53RD INFANTRY BATTALION--FIRST INFANTRY "TABAK" DIVISION, PHILIPPINE ARMY, PURPOSELY FOR USE OF ITS MILITARY OUTPOST AT BARANGAY LISON VALLEY, THIS CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER AND SIGN THE DEED OF DONATION FOR THE PURPOSE" WHEREAS, the 53rd Infantry Battalion--First Infantry "Tabak" Division, Philippine Army, by way of a letter through its Company Commander, Alpha Company 53IB, sought support from the City Government of Pagadian for the procurement of the necessary radio communication equipment for use of its military outpost being established at Barangay Lison Valley, this City, to help maintain and improve the peace and order situation of the city as well as to ensure the attainment of their mission to End Local Communist Armed Conflict; WHEREAS, finding importance and urgency of the foregoing request, the Honorable City Mayor, in a letter, proposed to provide fifteen (15) units of handheld radios to include its accessories and base antenna, as he sought for legislative authority to donate the afore-mentioned communication equipment--which request merited the support and concurrence of this body, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation of Fifteen (15) Units of Handheld Radios including its accessories and base antenna to the 53rd Infantry Battalion--First Infantry "Tabak" Division, Philippine Army (PA), purposely for use of its military outpost at Barangay Lison Valley, this City. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to authorize the Honorable City Mayor to enter and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation for the purpose. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and the 53rd Infantry Battalion--First Infantry "Tabak" Division, Philippine Army, through 1Lt. Maverick Rey C. Mira (INF), PA, Company Commander, Alpha Company 53IB, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
