RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0628 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING EN TOTO THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER (C3) BOARD AS ENUNCIATED UNDER ITS BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 09 SERIES OF 2020" WHEREAS, the City Commercial Center (C3) Board, during its board meeting held on 16 July 2020, passed and enacted Resolution No. 09, Series of 2020, entitled: "A resolution Recommending to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod the Return of Stall Numbers SF 44, 45 and 46 at the Second Floor of the C3 Mall to Mr. Patrick Wee Who was Intimidated and Forced to Give up his Stalls by the Former C3 Manager, City Administrator Lauro Mendoza Thru the Instructions of Former Mayor Pulmones on July 29, 2013 Less than a Month After Assuming Office, which were all done in Violation of City Ordinance No. 2009-288, Including the Exemption from the 3% Penalty, Provided that Mr. Wee will pay the Full Amount of His Balances"; WHEREAS, given the information that, up to this present, Stall Nos. SF 44, 45 and 46, located at the second floor of the City Commercial Center (C3), are still vacant and available, and with the manifestation of interest from the previous owner, Mr. Patrick Wee, to pursue the acquisition of the above-described stalls under the rent-to-own scheme, this body, finding no legal impediment thereto, deems it reasonable and practicable to approve and adopt the C3 Board's recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve and adopt, as this body hereby approves and adopts en toto the recommendation of the City Commercial Center (C3) Board as enunciated under its Board Resolution No. 09 series of 2020, as herein stipulated, to wit: That Stall Numbers SF 44, 45 & 46 at the second floor of the City Commercial Center (C3) be returned or awarded back to Mr. Patrick Wee--being the original awardee of the said stalls; and That the imposition of the Three Percent (3%) monthly penalty out of the total unpaid monthly amortizations shall be waived by the City Government in the event Mr. Patrick Wee--the original awardee of Stall Numbers SF 44, 45 & 46 at the second floor of the City Commercial Center (C3)--opted to pay in full the total remaining balance of amortizations. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished the City Commercial Center (C3) Board through Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the C3 Board; and the Manager-City Commercial Center (C3), for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
