RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0613 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Good Government, Ethics & Civil Service and Committee on Barangay Affairs) "A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS UNDER COMMITTEE REPORT NO. 190 OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON GOOD GOVERNMENT, ETHICS & CIVIL SERVICE AND ON BARANGAY AFFAIRS" WHEREAS, presented for consideration before this august body is Committee Report No. 190 from the Joint Committee on Good Government, Ethics & Civil Service and on Barangay Affairs for Referral No. 13cc-0382 relative to the endorsed letter-complaint of Ms. Remelyn P. Mendoza against Punong Barangay Nestor L. Cael, Jr. of Barangay Lapedian, this City, on the alleged unethical conduct and grave abuse of power of authority; WHEREAS, the concerned Joint Committee, to which the said concern was referred for preliminary investigation, through Committee Report No. 190, recommended the following actions, to wit: That Punong Barangay Nestor L. Cael, Jr. shall act in due time on the business permit/piggery farm application of Ms. Remelyn Mendoza subject to the compliance of related rules and regulations on sanitation; That Ms. Remelyn Mendoza shall submit to the authority of the Punong Barangay and the Barangay Council of Lapedian to address their personal concerns; and That the matter of Ms. Remelyn Mendoza's business permit application be treated and considered by the Barangay Council as a whole to prevent personal issues between the Punong Barangay and the complainant; WHEREAS, this august body, after careful perusal and evaluation, supported as it adopted the foregoing Committee's recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to adopt, as it is hereby adopted the recommendations under Committee Report No. 190 of the Joint Committee on Good Government, Ethics & Civil Service and on Barangay Affairs.
