"A RESOLUTION SETTING THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE WEIGHT OF SAND AND GRAVEL AGGREGATES FOR EVERY CARGO TRUCK THAT SHALL BE ALLOWED TO TRAVERSE THE ROADS OF BARANGAYS LOWER SIBATANG, GUBANG, MACASING, LAPEDIAN, LALA, LUMAD, PALPALAN, BALOYBOAN, KAHAYAGAN, BULAWAN, DATAGAN AND ALEGRIA, ALL OF THIS CITY, TO TEN (10) TONS OR THE EQUIVALENT VOLUME OF EIGHT (8) CUBIC FEET, WHICHEVER IS LOWER, AND FOR THE PURPOSE, REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT ALL CONCERNED OFFICES AS WELL AS THE CONCERNED BARANGAY GOVERNMENT UNITS TO ASSIGN PERSONNEL ON A TWENTY-FOUR HOUR BASIS TO ENSURE STRICT IMPLEMENTATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF THE SAME" 

WHEREAS, the concern on the worsening state/condition of city roads at Barangays Lower Sibatang, Gubang, Macasing, Lapedian, Lala, Lumad, Palpalan, Baloyboan, Kahayagan, Bulawan, Datagan, and Alegria, all of this city-which, upon careful evaluation and assessment, is attributable to the frequent passing of heavy equipment used in the operation of quarry in the nearby areas as well as cargo trucks carrying truckloads of sand and gravel-cannot be understated as it thus requires an immediate action from the City Government; 

WHEREAS, this august body, finding the urgent need to institute appropriate preventive and/or corrective measures thereto to preclude the further damage of the road and avoid any incidence of road mishap that might occur thereat, deems it necessary to provide a limit on the weight of cargo trucks carrying sand and gravel aggregates that shall be allowed to traverse the afore-mentioned barangay roads;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it

RESOLVED to set, as this body hereby sets the maximum allowable weight of sand and gravel aggregates for every cargo trucks that shall be allowed to traverse the roads of Barangays Lower Sibatang, Gubang, Macasing, Lapedian, Lala, Lumad, Palpalan, Baloyboan, Kahayagan, Bulawan, Datagan and Alegria, all of this City, to ten (10) tons or the equivalent volume of eight (8) cubic feet, whichever is lower. 

RESOLVED FURTHER, to request the Honorable City Mayor to direct all concerned offices as well as the concerned barangay government units to assign personnel on a twenty-four (24) hour basis to ensure strict implementation and enforcement of the same.


RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; and to the concerned Barangay Government Units through their respective Punong Barangay, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
