RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0508 (Sponsored by: Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives; and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING, DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 028, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AMNESTY TO ALL REAL PROPERTY TAXPAYERS IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN PARTICULARLY ON THE PAYMENT OF THE INTEREST, PENALTIES, SURCHARGES INCURRED FROM DELINQUENT TAX PAYMENTS/ACCOUNTS, PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS AND THE PERIOD OF AVAILMENT THEREOF, AND IN CASE OF NON-PAYMENT, AUTHORIZING THE UTILIZATION OF AVAILABLE LEGAL REMEDIES FOR THE COLLECTION OF ANY AND ALL TAXES DUE TO THE CITY OF PAGADIAN," AND FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE SAME ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 028 on Second Reading, finds the proposed measure within the ambit of authority of the body, aside from its very relevance and practicability under the present circumstances; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading Draft Ordinance No. 028, entitled: "An Ordinance Granting Amnesty to All Real Property Taxpayers in the City of Pagadian Particularly on the Payment of the Interest, Penalties, Surcharges Incurred from Delinquent Tax Payments/Accounts, Prescribing the Conditions and the Period of Availment Thereof, and In Case of Non-Payment, Authorizing the Utilization of Available Legal Remedies for the Collection of Any and All Taxes Due to the City of Pagadian," and for the consideration of the same on Third Reading.
