RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0499 (Sponsored by: Committee on Health and Social Services and Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 027 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2020-438, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE MANDATORY USE OR WEARING OF FACE MASK OR IMPROVISED FACE SHIELD IN ALL PUBLIC PLACES OF PAGADIAN CITY DURING OR ON THE OCCASION OF A DECLARED NATIONAL OR LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY DUE TO AN EPIDEMIC OR PANDEMIC DISEASES TRANSMISSIBLE THROUGH DROPLETS OR AIR-BORNE, AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 027, authored by the Committee on Health and Social Services and Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety, has been thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the measure as it stands merits the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to enact, as this body hereby enacts City Ordinance No. 2020 - 438, entitled: "An Ordinance Requiring The Mandatory Use Or Wearing Of Face Mask Or Improvised Face Shield In All Public Places Of Pagadian City During Or On The Occasion Of A Declared National Or Local Public Health Emergency Due To An Epidemic Or Pandemic Diseases Transmissible Through Droplets Or Air-Borne, And Providing Penalty For Violation Thereof."
