Gavenia) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF ONE MILLION THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY-NINE AND 62/100 (P1,037,749.62) PESOS, OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, FOR THE PAYMENT OF FINANCIAL COMPENSATION AND ASSISTANCE TO THE INDIVIDUAL OWNERS OF THE BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES THAT SHALL BE DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THE IMPLEMENTATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROPOSED INTEGRATED BUS AND JITNEY TERMINAL ANNEX ALONG THE AREA FRONTING THE DISNEYLAND PALACE LOCATED AT BARANGAY SANTA LUCIA, THIS CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EFFECT THE PAYMENT OF THE SAME" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, consistent with its mandate to provide local residents as well as tourists, travelers and bus and jitney operators and their employees the comfort and convenience while travelling, is pursuing the establishment and operation of an Integrated Bus and Jitney Terminal Annex project along the area fronting the Disneyland Palace located at Barangay Santa Lucia, this city, which project shall be implemented as a measure to eliminate and/or get rid of the existence of several bus and jitney terminals within the city proper and help resolve the worsening traffic condition of the city; WHEREAS, in consideration of the preliminary technical investigation, assessment and evaluation, it was disclosed that the pursuit of the project will cause the demolition or affect the respective residential dwellings as well as other structures of some fifteen (15) individuals in the area; WHEREAS, taking into account the legal and moral obligation, the Honorable City Mayor, based on the projected cost of estimates provided by the City Engineer's Office, recommends for the extension of just compensation to those that may be dislocated or are forced to relocate their houses and/or other structures as a result of the introduction of government infrastructure, which recommendation merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the allocation of One Million Thirty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Nine and 62/100 (P1,037,749.62) Pesos, out of any available fund sources of the City Government, for the payment of financial compensation and assistance to the individuals owners of the buildings or structures that shall be directly affected by the implementation and construction of the proposed Integrated Bus and Jitney Terminal Annex along the area fronting the Disneyland Palace located at Barangay Santa Lucia, this city, namely: Name CEO Estimated Cost NORHANISA ISMAEL P 16,980.00 MOMPI ABOD P 33,098.00 FHANMY RASHID P 106,955.00 SUGIE ABOD P 21,260.00 ROCAYA PALOT P 140,866.00 AWFHA A.
