RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0487 (Sponsored by: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF ONE (1) UNIT AMBULANCE BY THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE (PCSO) IN FAVOR OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, AND TO SIGN ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE AND/OR WITHDRAWAL OF THE SAME" WHEREAS, consistent with the City Government's thrust and commitment to provide better health services to its constituents, the City Chief Executive, by virtue of the authority granted by this Sanggunian, sought for the donation of an ambulance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) through the PCSO Ambulance Donation Project; WHEREAS, very recently, the City Government of Pagadian received information on the approval of the foregoing request, such that a Deed of Donation for the purpose is to be executed by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in favor of the City Government, hence, an authority to accept and sign the deed for and in behalf of the City Government has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor; WHEREAS, this body, to effectively pursue the foregoing program for the benefit of the health needs of the people of Pagadian, deems it appropriate and in order to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to accept the donation of one (1) unit ambulance by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office in favor of the City Government of Pagadian. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to grant authority to sign any and all documents relating to the immediate release and/or withdrawal of the same. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to PCOL. ROYINA M.
