Gavenia) "A RESOLUTION MANIFESTING THE INTEREST OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN TO AVAIL OF A TEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND (P10,500,000.00) PESO LOAN ASSISTANCE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE UNDER ITS AGRICULTURAL COMPETITIVENESS ENHANCEMENT FUND (ACEF), PURPOSELY FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE COLD STORAGE FACILITY PROJECT AT BARANGAY SAN PEDRO, THIS CITY, AND AUTHORIZING CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO APPLY, NEGOTIATE AND SIGN ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO" WHEREAS, the City Government, in line with its thrust and commitment to provide public facilities that will redound and accelerate the development and growth of the socio-economic condition of its constituents, has commenced with the establishment and construction of a cold storage facility at Barangay San Pedro, this City, purposely to enhance the productivity of the agricultural sector of this city; WHEREAS, as the facility is yet to be operationalized, and considering the importance and necessity of such facility which could greatly help raise the quality of life of its inhabitants particularly those in the agricultural sector, the City Government is determined to pursue the completion of such public facility by availing a Ten Million Five Hundred Thousand (P10,500,000.00) Peso loan assistance from the Department of Agriculture under its Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF), which amount is equivalent to the remaining balance of the City Government's allowable loan capacity; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to manifest, as it hereby manifests the interest of the City Government of Pagadian to avail of a Ten Million Five Hundred Thousand (P10,500,000.00) Peso loan assistance from the Department of Agriculture under its Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF), purposely for the completion of the cold storage facility project at Barangay San Pedro, this City. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to authorize Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to apply, negotiate and sign any and all documents for the city's acquisition of such loan package with the Department of Agriculture. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, Secretary William Dar, Department of Agriculture, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City, for information and favorable consideration; to the Regional Director of the Department of Agriculture, Regional Office No. IX; and His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
