RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0481 (Co-Sponsored by: Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications & Franchising and Committee on Police, Fire & Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO THE INTENTION/PROPOSAL OF MS. GEVIMA GRACE ONG TO CONSTRUCT AND ESTABLISH A GASOLINE REFILLING STATION AT PUROK SALINGSING 2, BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, PROVIDED THAT ALL PERTINENT REQUISITES UNDER EXISTING LAWS AND ORDINANCES RELATIVE THERETO ARE DULY COMPLIED WITH" WHEREAS, Ms. Gevima Grace Ong, with reference to her intention to establish, operate and maintain a gasoline refilling station in Purok Salingsing 2, Barangay Balintawak, sought the support and endorsement of this august body in securing necessary government permits and clearances; WHEREAS, with the favorable endorsement from the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator, this august body, in support of the concerned Committee's favorable recommendation, finds the establishment of the project justified in keeping with the current demands for oil products in the city provided, however, that the pertinent supporting documents necessarily required under applicable national laws and local ordinances be essentially complied with as pre-requisites to its construction, establishment and operation, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to interpose no objection, as this body hereby interposes no objection to the intention/proposal of Ms. Gevima Grace Ong to construct and establish a gasoline refilling station at Purok Salingsing 2, Barangay Balintawak, this City, provided that all pertinent requisites under existing laws and ordinances relative thereto are duly complied with. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor; the City Planning & Development Coordinator; the City Engineer; the City Building Official; and Ms. Gevima Grace Ong, all of this City, for their information and guidance.
