RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0448 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Barangay Affairs and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF DUMAGOC, THIS CITY, ITS BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 21, SERIES OF 2019, WITH AN ADVICE TO REMOVE/DELETE SOME SECTIONS FOUND OUT TO BE CONTRARY TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991 AND TO REVISE THE SAME TO BE MORE CONCISE AND COMPREHENSIVE" WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Dumagoc, submitted its Barangay Ordinance No. 21, series of 2019 entitled: "An Ordinance on the Creation of 4 Purok Organization and the other purpose of Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City," and submitted the same to this body for review and confirmation pursuant to the Local Government Code; WHEREAS, this body, upon evaluation of the foregoing concern through the concerned committees to which the said matter was referred for initial observation, deems it most proper to remand the same, without action, with a further recommendation to amend or revise the same in compliance with the provisions of the Local Government Code; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Barangay Council of Dumagoc, this City, its Barangay Ordinance No. 21, series of 2019, with an advice to remove/delete some sections found out to be contrary to the Local Government Code of 1991 and to revise the same to be more concise and comprehensive. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Barangay Council of Dumagoc through its Punong Barangay, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
