RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0439 (Sponsor: Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia) "A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY FORWARDING TO HIS HONOR, CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO, THE ADVISORY, DATED 14 MARCH 2020, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG), ON THE SUBJECT: "SUSPENSION OF ROAD CLEARING 2.0," FOR HIS INFORMATION, GUIDANCE AND/OR APPROPRIATE CONSIDERATION" WHEREAS, in view of the recent global phenomenon brought by the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), in support to the Proclamation of the President of the Philippines placing the National Capital Region (NCR) under Enhanced Community Quarantine as a measure to contain, if not prevent, the spread of such disease, issued an Advisory, dated 14 March 2020, which, in gist, suspended the conduct of road clearing operations and other activities by all government units starting March 15, 2020 until further notice, and furnished this august body for its information and consideration; WHEREAS, the body, considering the earnestness of the said matter, finds it most proper to transmit the said Advisory to the Honorable City Mayor for his information, guidance and/or appropriate consideration; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to officially forward, as this body hereby officially forwards to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, the Advisory, dated 14 March 2020, issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), on the subject: "Suspension of Road Clearing 2.0," for his information, guidance and/or appropriate consideration. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information, guidance and/or appropriate consideration. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
