"A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO HIS HONOR, CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO, TO EXTEND MONTHLY HONORARIUM AND/OR MONETARY ALLOWANCE, CHARGEABLE AGAINST APPROPRIATE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, TO THE HEREIN NAMED OFFICERS OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE, ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES, AND THE PHILIPPINE DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY WHO ARE OFFICIALLY STATIONED AND/OR ASSIGNED IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN IN THE AMOUNT SPECIFIED HEREUNDER, EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 2020"

WHEREAS, consistent with the thrust of this present administration to maintain and preserve the peaceful and orderly situation of the city, the City Government, by virtue of the authority accorded in Republic Act No. 7160, has been granting monthly monetary allowance to several officials of the national government assigned and actually rendering services in the City of Pagadian; 

WHEREAS, just recently, information revealed that there are newly assigned officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the city, which will, accordingly, contribute to the over-all development of the city as well as in the maintenance of peace and order, such that the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, sought for legislative authority to extend the same benefits in an amount herein specified; 

WHEREAS, this august body, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing request, deems it reasonable and justifiable to grant the request, hence, this authority; 

 NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it

RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants authority to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, to extend monthly honorarium and/or monetary allowance, chargeable against appropriate fund sources of the City Government, to the following officers of the Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency who are officially stationed and/or assigned in the City of Pagadian, effective February 2020, in the amount specified herein, viz:

LtCol. Marlowe E. Patria, Battalion Commander, 53RD IB, PA P 15,000.00 
PLtCol. Reynaldo E. Arino, Head, Police Provincial Mobile Force, ZDS P 10,000.00
PMaj. Samson B. Pascual, Head-CIDG, ZDS-Provincial Office P 8,000.00
Agent Cesario Judilla, Head-PDEA, ZDS P 8,000.00
PSSG Raymond Gerochi, Head-Explosive Ordnance Division (EOD) P 5,000.00
PLt. Arnold Sagabain, Head-Highway Patrol Group (HPG), ZDS P 5,000.00
Total P51,000.00

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the City Budget Officer, the City Accountant, the City Treasurer, and the City Auditor, for their reference; and to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, this City, for his information.
