Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXTEND ALL NECESSARY ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO ENSURE THE FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROPOSED COMPUTERIZATION PROGRAM OF THE DIFFERENT OFFICES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, NAMELY: THE CITY PERMITS AND LICENSE DIVISION-OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR; THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ASSESSOR; THE OFFICE OF THE CITY TREASURER; AND THE OFFICE OF THE CITY BUILDING OFFICIAL; IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE MANDATE OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11032, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE EASE OF DOING BUSINESS AND EFFICIENT GOVERNMENT SERVICE DELIVERY ACT OF 2018" WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 11032 otherwise known as "The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018," encourages all Local Government Units to seriously consider the adoption of modern information technology in attaining faster, efficient and effective public service delivery within their respective jurisdiction; WHEREAS, in view of such mandate, this body finds it appropriate and in order for the City Government to take positive steps towards achieving technological advancement by allowing the computerization of local services particularly in the City Permits and License Division-Office of the City Mayor for the processing of applications, both new and renewal, for business permits; in the Office of the City Assessor and the Office of the City Treasurer with regard to the assessment and collection of real property tax; and in the Office of the City Building Official for the processing of applications for building and occupancy permits; WHEREAS, in the interest of public service and, to ensure the pursuance of the foregoing program, the assistance and support from the City Chief Executive in giving priority the provision and allocation of funding requirement is most necessary, hence, this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to extend all necessary assistance and support to ensure the full implementation of the proposed computerization program of the different offices of the City Government of Pagadian, namely: the City Permits and License Division-Office of the City Mayor; the Office of the City Assessor; the Office of the City Treasurer; and the Office of the City Building Official; in compliance with the mandate of Republic Act No. 11032, otherwise known as "The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018." RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action, the Head-City Permits and License Division, Office of the City Mayor; the City Assessor, the City Treasurer and the City Building Official, for their information and follow-up.
