RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0360 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING SINCEREST THANKS AND GRATITUDE TO THE RAMONA FISHING CORPORATION, THROUGH MS. RAMONA YU, FOR THE GENEROSITY AND INVALUABLE SUPPORT PARTICULARLY IN ALLOWING THE USE OF THE RAMONA FISHING VESSEL THAT LED TO THE SUCCESSFUL STAGING OF THE FLUVIAL PROCESSION INITIATED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PASALAMAT FESTIVAL 2020 CELBRATION" WHEREAS, the active involvement of all stakeholders from the agencies and bureaus of government as well as the private sector-civic, business and religious have greatly contributed to the over-all success of the Pasalamat Festival 2020, a weeklong tourism-related activity initiated by the City Government of Pagadian in honor of the feast of the Patron Saint, El Senior Santo Nino; WHEREAS, the body recognizes the over-all success of the fluvial procession-one of the initiated activity of the celebration-to generosity and invaluable support of the Ramona Fishing Corporation for allowing the City Government to use their fishing vessel which activity, by and large, was successfully undertaken; WHEREAS, such kindness and benevolence shown by the Ramona Fishing Corporation through Ms. Ramona Yu deserves the body's commendation and appreciation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to commend, as this body hereby commends and expresses its sincerest thanks and gratitude to the Ramona Fishing Corporation, through Ms. Ramona Yu, for the generosity and invaluable support particularly in allowing the use of the Ramona Fishing Vessel that led to the successful staging of the fluvial procession initiated in connection with the Pasalamat Festival 2020 celebration. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Ramona Fishing Corporation through Ms. Ramona Yu, for information; to the Honorable City Mayor; and to the Steering Committee, Pasalamat Festival 2020, for their reference and guidance.
