RESOLUTION NO. 2020-0318 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) A RESOLUTION INVITING, IN AID OF LEGISLATION, DR. AGNES FERNANDO, Ed.D., DMO V/PHTL, PROVINCIAL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH OFFICE (PDOHO)-ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, TO ATTEND THE 23RD REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD ON 15 JANUARY 2020, WEDNESDAY, AT 9:00 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING, AT THE SP SESSION HALL, LEGISLATIVE BUILDING, THIS CITY, PURPOSELY TO PROVIDE THE BODY WITH INCIDENCE REPORT ON FIRECRACKERS OR PYROTECHNICS RELATED INJURIES OR FATALITIES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN IN RELATION TO THE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS" WHEREAS, with the Christmas and New Year celebrations have now come to pass, the members of the 13th City Council would like to be apprised whether there are still incidences of firecrackers or pyrotechnics related injuries or fatalities in the City of Pagadian despite the massive campaign drive undertaken by the Department of Health to abstain from using such firecrackers and/or pyrotechnics during the said celebrations; WHEREAS, the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office of the Department of Health through is in the best position to provide the Sangguniang Panlungsod with the actual and accurate report on the matter, thus requesting the attendance of Dr. Agnes Fernando during the body's 23rd Regular Session on the date and time above-cited is most appropriate at this prevailing circumstance; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to invite, as this body hereby invites, in aid of legislation, Dr. Agnes Fernando, Ed.D., DMO V/PHTL, Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO)-Zamboanga del Sur, to attend the 23rd Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod on 15 January 2020, Wednesday, at 9:00 o'clock in the morning, at the SP Session Hall, Legislative Building, this city, purposely to provide the body with incidence report on firecrackers or pyrotechnics related injuries or fatalities in the City of Pagadian in relation to the Christmas and New Year celebrations. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Dr. Agnes Fernando, Ed.D., DMO V/PHTL, Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO)-Zamboanga del Sur, this City, for her information and favorable consideration.
