RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0298 (Sponsor: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO GRANT MONETARY INCENTIVES TO MR. JOEMAR GALLAZA IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (P100,000.00) PESOS, TO BE TAKEN OUT OF APPROPRIATE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, AS A TOKEN OF RECOGNITION FOR HIS OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE DURING THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED 30TH SOUTHEAST ASIAN (SEA) GAMES HELD IN MANILA, PHILIPPINES" WHEREAS, official record revealed that Mr. Joemar Gallaza, a native of Pagadian City, brought honor and pride to the city and the entire country as a member of the Philippine delegation to the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games held in Manila, Philippines, where he and his teammate won the Gold Medal for their outstanding performance in the Muai-Thai competition under the "Wai Kru and Mai" category; WHEREAS, this achievement of Mr. Gallaza could not have been made possible without the dedication and personal discipline he exemplified which brought him to such level of excellence, such that it is the foremost desire of this august body to recognize such accomplishment by granting him financial incentive; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to grant a monetary incentive to Mr. Joemar Gallaza in the amount of One Hundred Thousand (P100,000.00) pesos, to be taken out of appropriate fund sources of the City Government, as a token of recognition for his outstanding performance during the recently concluded 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) games held in Manila, Philippines. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor; the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; the City Auditor; Mr. Joemar Gallaza, all of this City, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
