RESOLUTION NO. 2019-0293 (Sponsor: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ALLOCATE THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND (P300,000.00) PESOS FROM APPROPRIATE SOURCES OF FUNDS AND THEREAFTER RELEASE THE SAME THROUGH THE PAGADIAN CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INCORPORATED (PCCCI), AS THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S COUNTERPART OF P100,000.00 EACH FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE THREE (3) UNITS SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT AT BARANGAY TIGUMA, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, information revealed that the Pagadian Chinese Chamber of Commerce Incorporated (PCCCI) has been awarded by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of a 3-unit Elementary School Building Project which is proposed to be constructed at Barangay Tiguma, this City; WHEREAS, in relation thereto, the Pagadian Chinese Chamber of Commerce Incorporated (PCCCI), by way of a letter through its Vice President, has requested financial assistance from the City Government as counterpart/equity for the said project; WHEREAS, to ensure the successful implementation of the project, this august body supports the proposal of the Honorable City Mayor to extend the total amount of P300,000.00-an amount equivalent to three (3) units school building-hence, authorizing the City Chief Executive to allocate and release the said amount is most prim and proper; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to allocate the total amount of Three Hundred Thousand (P300,000.00) Pesos from appropriate sources of funds and thereafter release the same through the Pagadian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Incorporated, as the City Government's counterpart for the construction of the Three (3) Units School Building Project at Barangay Tiguma, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; the City Auditor; and the Pagadian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Incorporated (PCCCI) through its Vice President, Mr. Michael L.
